Spotlight on NPR during a historic election.

In the run-up to the 2008 election season, Threespot developed a collection of online maps that would become not just the centerpiece for NPR’s election website, but also number one in Google’s search results for “election 2008.” Working with NPR, we designed and built a data-driven suite of maps showing the outcome of presidential, senate, house, and gubernatorial elections, as well as the presidential primaries. These functional, dynamic maps enabled NPR to elevate its position as a leading provider of online election data and coverage. During the primaries, the maps were even circulated internally at the DNC as a tool for staff.
