The National Park Service’s primary communication hub,, attracts millions of visitors daily, driving in-person park visits and offering educational resources on “America’s Best Idea.” However, the vast amount of content was challenging for administrators to manage, resulting in a fragmented experience for site users. Threespot partnered with NPS to optimize and evolve the site with incremental upgrades. Our phased approach began with a homepage redesign in 2009 and a site-wide redesign in 2012, enhancing aesthetics and usability while exciting users and showcasing our national parks.
