PBS NewsHour

Known for its depth of coverage, PBS NewsHour is one of the best U.S. sources for nonpartisan television journalism. Threespot collaborated with PBS NewsHour in 2014 to develop a digital strategy worthy of its stature in the broadcast world. We aligned their strategy with organizational goals while establishing a culture of measurement and evaluation, ultimately empowering staff through data. By proposing clear roles and responsibilities for digital communications, implementing workflow tools, and building a deeper understanding of digital audiences, we encouraged a culture of experimentation, establishing authority through content, and adapting to the evolving digital landscape while maintaining NewsHour’s core values and audience-centric approach.
