Sarah is a Senior Software Engineer at Threespot. She found her way to software development in 2015 when she enrolled in the General Assembly Web Development Immersive class. She graduated from the class after falling in love with engineering while learning HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Ruby. She enjoys solving complex problems for clients and bringing ideas to life through code. Since starting at Threespot in 2015, Sarah has led website redesign and native app development projects at Threespot for clients like the Adler Planetarium, National Park Trust, the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, and the USO.
Before diving into the coding world, she was at The Pew Charitable Trusts working on environmental policy. She was an associate in their Environmental Group advocating for Clean Energy policy and Public Lands. She authored original research, organized events, wrote contracts, managed a network of clean energy businesses from around the country, and participated in political strategy.
Sarah graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in political science. Sarah lives in Colorado, and when she’s not working you can usually find her somewhere in the mountains, or spending time with friends and family.
